AUSTIN PRODUCTION DIRECTORY
The Austin Production Directory is a free online resource for the film, television and commercial industries of Austin, Texas. For eligibility to list in the Austin Production Directory:
REQUIREMENTS TO LIST:
- Applicants must have an address in the Greater Austin Area—this includes Travis County and the immediate surrounding counties (Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Guadalupe, Hays, Lee, Llano, Milam and Williamson County).
- Applicants must have at least one paid, verifiable production (film, television or commercial) job credit that corresponds with each selected subcategory. For example: if you list as "Locations - Location Manager” – you must have worked on a production in a paid capacity as a Location Manager.
- Please review the Directory’s Terms of Service. By creating a listing with the Austin Film Commission, applicants have agreed to the stated terms and conditions.
If eligible, collect your contact information and previous job history materials prior to starting your online application. Please note: the application will time out after a period of inactivity, ending the session and requiring you to start the process from the beginning.
Applicants can list in multiple categories if they have multiple credits. Each listing allows applicants to choose up to eight categories (departments/ jobs), with three credits (projects) per category. We recommend applicants include their three most recent credits. The Austin Production Directory is separate from the Texas Production Directory—they are not connected. If applicable, we recommend listing in both Production Directories to maximize the promotion of your profile.
Be sure to save the login and password you create. We recommend updating your listing after each project to maximize the promotion of your profile and to keep your work history up-to-date. The Austin Film Commission sends out an annual notice to confirm whether listings are active if updates are not regularly made.
New and updated Production Directory listings require Austin Film Commission review and approval. Please allow 24-48 hours to publish.
